Since a very early age, Manohar Ji lived and studied in the Gurukul (traditional boarding schools for vedic teaching) of Parmartha Niketan Ashram, in Rishikesh (India). He was raised by revered saints and gurus who trained him in yoga and music. He is driven by the passion to make Ekattva the best yoga teacher training school in India, so as to introduce future teachers to the traditional values of yoga practice. Under the tutelage of Swami Chidanand Saraswati, his guru, Manohar Ji feels blessed to have received the ancient wisdom that is in the very mountains surrounding Swargashram ("heaven of ashrams") and the waters of Ganga itself. He honors his duty to spread the knowledge he has received through spreading the knowledge and practice of Yoga.
Thousands of years back, Indian seers and scholars had indoctrinated Yoga while in pursuit of the ultimate knowledge. They knew that it is possible only through attaining a state of balance in physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Yoga is the only wholesome discipline that can lead to that balance. We are on a mission to take this knowledge far and wide through our Yoga based programs, what we call the blessings from the land of Ganga.
